Outcome Channel
Outcome Channel is a separate product for tracking channels and outcomes. Diary Tools can connect to it so contacts link to those entities, and so Gmail triage can match inbound mail to work in progress.
Diary Tools and Outcome Channel do not share the same login or subscription. You connect them explicitly.
Connect Outcome Channel
- Sign in to Diary Tools at app.diary.tools.
- Open Integrations → Outcome Channel.
- Click Connect Outcome Channel.
- Sign in to Outcome Channel when prompted and approve access.
Diary Tools stores a refresh token for your subscription and then calls Outcome Channel as that user to list channels and outcomes.
What you get

| Gmail triage | On Gmail settings, choose which OC channel ids to consider; only in progress outcomes on those channels are match candidates |
| Without OC | Email sync and contacts still work; outcome matching is skipped |
Tips
- Create channels and outcomes in Outcome Channel first if you plan to link them from Diary Tools.
- Revisit Gmail settings after connecting so triage knows which channels to use.
- Disconnect from the same Integrations page if you no longer want Diary Tools to access Outcome Channel.
